I bought to play Acey Ducey and cant because it gets caught in a double loop

Im super bummed as for the most part this looks like it would be amazing and unlike most digital backgammon apps this is one of two that play acey ducey. Sadly though after paying $5 I am not able to play acey ducey as anytime I roll a 1-2 the game gets caught in an infinite doubles loop.
